On my re-re-re-rebuilts, now 3-way bi-amp. I externally mounted the HF Dayton Passive on the speaker enclosure, Towards the top as to deal with just the tweeter effects and less floor base. The speaker cable is wired direct into the passive XO. The XOs are in a emulsion coated PE pencil box, shock mounted.Dan
