Hi Folks
I had it with the ferrets. (We have four). Little fellows have no appreciation for good audio equipment. Banging cable around and adjusting the power amp with the gain controls on the back. (System is mostly Parasound, John never would have foresaw this problem). Our bad boy; George of Jungle, has a knawling desire for the heat shrink on the speaker cable. This is despite ample applications of sodium benzoate and red pepper. One of our three cats likes the insulation on the hyper-zip for the LF cable. It's a zoo out there I tell you. The mouse is no problem at all, he's in a ten gallon tank. None the less:
I need to construct a four-foot rack mount enclosure with removable/secured back panel for home use Using:. A set of rails from Partexpress, thickest MDF available and will use brass when ever possible. Light sand and paint black, nothing fancy. I have been thinking of doing a double wall/ isolation construction and mounting the rail on the inner board. Very open to tweaks but I'm not making furniture here.
