There are single ended and there are balanced DAC´s.A single end DAC has one output for music signal and GND.
A balanced DAC has two phases for the music signal 180 degree to eachother, that´s + and - and GND.You can use both outputs for a balanced output or simply chose to conect only one for single ended output.
I strongly sugest you go the balanced route, no matter if you chose the Zapfilter or another discrete FET or tube design.
