Do a search on Ebay under "isolation transformer". There are often high throughput Topaz isolation units at great prices. Also sold as hospital isolation transformers. Price $50-200 USD for a 1KV unit. Careful of shipping costs as a 1KV unit will weigh more than 35lb.Some members have suggested a 200-300% transformer rating over expected load. I do not think this is necessary if the power supply of your equipment is not complete junk. From what I understand 20% over highest expected capacity should be OK with a good piece of isolation iron (transformer).
