Once the field arrow point is secured to the component there isn’t any horizontal movement.I,m no engineer I really don’t think theirs that much movement in the rollerblock to worry about double dipping. I’ve tired a flat on the top plate and there wasn’t much difference in sound to my ears. I feel more at ease, you'd really have to try to knock the component off the rollerblock.
