Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

I would like to build a tri-fold screen to cover an opening into the living room from my den. This opening is to the left of the left speaker. The purpose would be to reduce the sound entering the living room, which leads to the stairway (bedrooms upstairs). It can only help with imaging, too, I'm sure. I'm thinking something to absorb as well as diffuse, in other words, a textured cloth surface with polyfil behind it.
Any DIY projects you know of for a treatment such as this? Any associated links? I would consider something already built if the price wasn't too bad ($200, +/-).
