After hearing posts on the improvement in playback applying snakeoils of various brands to their CD I thought I'd try a little experiment. I burned two identical CD's, one I left alone, the other I applied some raindance car wax (safe for clearcoat). I was pleasantly surprized, the waxed CD did sound clearly better. Better detail all around, improved low end dynamics, better imaging, for want of a better description I'd say the music sounded closer. So I tried it out on a few more CDs, it each case they sounded better. All for 5 bucks for an 8 ounce bottle, and it does a nice job on my car too.
