The amount of effort and cost to do this would seem quite out of line with the potential quality of a player that lacked a digital out. After all, almost all decent players have them.Also, your description of the situation is unclear. Just because it lacks a digital out "pin" (whatever that means to you), are you sure that there's no SPDIF signal somewhere inside? If so, what digital lines are available?
