I've replaced bunches of these... we have a dozen or so of these players. The display is a backlit LCD, -an LED wouldn't be backlit... -think about it -It's a light source in itself!!!Can't remember the bulb voltage (I'm at home at the moment) -but just put a voltmeter across the leads and read it off. -YOu should be able to find a similar-looking replacement!
