Doesn't the room have different absorbion characteristics at different freq? That is why I assume it has to do time correctons for many freq.Then Tact should have just made a monopole ribbon tweeter (like Newform) instead of a dipole one and then go try to correct it. And how come you don't have giant room absorbers in your Quad system if you believe in absorbing all rear soundwaves?
