Can someone tell me how to know the polarity of Harris FREDs? One leg has a u-shaped elbow at the top, while the other leg is straight. From the MP catalog it looks like the leg with the elbow is the cathode. The slot on the PCB for the diodes shows a line on one side of the diode connection. Am I right in thinking that the leg with the elbow should be soldered on the side with the 'line'? That's what I did, but my recently finished project isn't working, and this is one of the only things I questioned when completing it.Thanks for your input.....I really appreciate it.
