I feel your pain Bob,How 'bout my SE monoblocks which are in their third year of developement.
The first year was spent making decisions and ordering parts. Some parts took six months to arrive from Timbuktu. Some would be on backorder forever and then they'd say "we can't supply"..... go to second source.
The second year was spent searching for and buying a new house and getting settled into it, starting the garden and so forth.
The beginning of the third year saw (heard) sound comming out of the thing. Then the power tranny on the left channel "pooped out" and required another log period of waiting for iron to travel circuitously around the globe to my house.
Now the fun begins as I tweak and tweak and tweak. Every few days I learn something new and debate with myself as to the validity of the tweak and how to implement it.
