In addition to the Radiotron Designer's Handbook, which has an awful lot of information per cubic inch, I find that I am always picking up the ARRL handbook. I especially appreciate the power supply sections, as well as the basic electronics chapters. It is heavy on RF, but it is the only place that I have seen a 4KV B+ supply schematic!There are other good sources--new magazines, old magazines and tech journals. Some used book stores carry these old technical manuals and journals--search them out.
