Hi everyone!
Does anybody here, have any experiences with the above trannie???
It is a design, used for I/V-conversion in cd-players, enabling a current output DAC-chip to be coupled to a tubegrid. I have, for a looong time now, been interested in rebuilding my cd-player, giving it an all valve outputstage, based loosely on Audio Note DAC4´s outputstage. Unfortunately, AN´s own trannie(wound 1:3), is a bit costly, but Sowters type 8347 is more modestly priced(but wound 1:18.7). How do the two transformers compare?? Any info on this matter, is greatly appreciated.Happy listening!!!!
