Barrier strip are fine as long as you observe several things: 1. Keep the input as far away from the output as you can get it. These should be shielded leads. Allow the next adjacent barrier screw to be it's shield ground point 2. Ground the center lead of the barrier strip and let this be a star chassis ground point to which all other ground points come. That's three points already taken up by grounds. 3.Keep B+ away from C- and observe + a - DC filament leads the same. I would also shield B+ and C- leads. 4. You might also think about putting all this in a metal shield box with a lid becuase you won't be able to get a low noise floor without a shielded box especially around flourescent lights. The best!
