I just recently known the passive preamplifier and I love it. My SS amplifier has 10Kohms input impedance. Do you think will I benefit frm using passive preamplifier?I'm afraid you're the only one who can truly answer that. Suffice to say that many are using such a combination and are quite happy with it.
I heard that tube amp (with >100kohms input impedance) will most benefit from this unit. Why?
Technically because the higher imput impedance results in a bit less loss, but again, only you can determine any actual benefit for yourself.
