I'm using an Isobar Ultra 6 with very good results. I have a dimmer switch on a different circuit in the same room and it introduces an audible hum also.A friend of mine brought over his Brick Wall unit and the dimmer still produced an audible hum. The problem is the dimmer. I could detect no difference in sound quality between the Isorbar, the Brick Wall, or no Surge protecter at all.
The Brick Wall may or may not offer better protection, but there is enough insurance on the Isobar to cover the cost of my system many times over. So for me it is a moot point.
