As far as I can remember (I had "opportunity" to install few upsampling and HDCD modules) there is oscillator in Linkdac, but only for incoming signal freq. detection. "Stand alone" oscillator clock (either 24.5 or 33 MHz -depending on desired upsampling freq. - 96 or 133kHz) comes with upsampling module. Basic Linkdac extracts clocks trough CS8414 from incoming digital signals in up to 24/96 format.regards,
