Hi Steve,Thanks for the explanation. I asked the question because at one time I was trying to make some DIY XLO-style interconnect cable that has the same kind of cross-winding scheme for the signal and ground wires. I then realized that the cable with such winding geometry is actually a big coil, and promptly dropped that project.
