Hi Steve,Could you please provide a bit clarification? In the winding scheme you described, the current going through the wire wound up and down the core appears to be still flowing in the same angular direction around the core (i.e., it is looping the core in the same direction), even though there is displacement along the longitudinal axis of the core. If that is the case, how is the inductance cancelled?
