Hi inmates,
I recently purchased a Radio Shack digital SPL meter. Excitedly I got it home skimmed the directions and tried it out. I sat at my normal listening position and played my music at a bit louder than my normal level and set the meter to 60 range C weighting and fast response.
I kept getting a "lo" displayed on the meter indicating that I had chosen too high a range. Well at 60 there is no lower range and honestly I think I was listening at a fairly high volume. My questions is do I have a defective meter or am I using the meter incorrectly? Thanks for any tips or advice!
