Re: DIY Expedition: baby steps

I just made some ic's I am happy with. I stripped the teflon off of some Homegrown Audio silve wire. I slid 3 pieces of it into some 1/8" teflon tubing. I then slid the 1/8" tubing into some 1/4" tubing. Around the 1/4" tubing, I wrapped a twisted pair of CAT5 teflon coated copper wire as the ground conductor. These are currently between my cdp and tube integrated, and sound pretty darn good.
