Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

I've read the posts at DIOMOD group and Gary's spreadsheet. As much as I appreciate their work, however, I must confess that I couldn't really figure out what to do. I would like to decrese the output level to about the half of the stock form. So if the stock DI/O gain is x4 (7V), and the normal output level is x1 (2V), then I'd like set my DI/O to x2 or x2.5 (around 3 or 3.5V). Could someone tell me plainly what resistor values I should use and where to achieve the gain of x2 and/or x2.5? Many thanks.
