Just good old urethane insulating foam works great- the stuff comes in aerosol cans and is available at most home hardware supply stores.
You'll just need to flip the unit upside down and drill a hole in the void area to accept the foam canister's nozzle and a few more at the far side to allow the displaced air somewhere to go.
It's best if you don't get overly concerned about filling the units completely full as any of the stuff that expands out will make a mess like you wouldn't believe.It dries as hard as glass and is virtually imposible to clean off. Anyway, what you're after is to bridge the void between the top and bottom to form a damping mechanism and quiet the unsupported expanse.
Most of the sonic qualities of the Lack are due to its low mass and the veneer and the urethane foam will not degrade its basic signature.
