There's a kind of roofing material made to guard against ice that can be found at most hardware stores. A big roll of the stuff will run ~5 bucks.Like dynamat it's self-adhesive and about a 1/4 in. thick. Unlike dynamat, the sides of these tar-based sheets can be a bit sloppy.
