Cheap black markers works well for me and I've used it for almost 10 years.To go to the full, blaken, the inner edge, Inner grove (if any) from the top, the transparant space inside the entire inner circle and the transparent narrow edge on the top and at the bottom (yes, main surfaces) of the disk. Watch carefully where the music is recorded up to.
This is very obvious improvement, for those who cannot hear it, better re-optimise your system, something may be very wrong to your system!
