The ALPS 100K volume pot has 6 legs (Input, Output, Ground) X Left/Right channel.
The 6 legs of the pot connects to the corresponding label I/O/G in the Amp's PCB.
My diagram is a connection for one channel from the pot to the pcb.
Inside the pot, there is two resistence, one to output and one to the ground. As follows:I--r1--O
.\
...r2
......\
........Gwhere r1 and r2 varies to produce a constant impendence to output.
Is this correct? The shunt mod can be done to replace either r1 or r2. But replacing r1 should give a better result.
Did I screw up somewhere??Many Thanks.
