Re: lead-less solder

Pure lead is quite poisonous IF you maintain skin contact with it, or get it on your fingers and then eat or smoke, etc. However, it does take prolonged and/or regular exposure in most cases to become a real problem.

Normal soldering activities are not going to be that hazardous, just wash your hands after soldering.

Actually, inhaling the smoke from the solder resin is a lot worse, be sure to have adequate ventilation when soldering.
