Hi Steve,Yes, you could do this but it may be better to lower capacitance
to .2uf with 2-.1uf in parallel. It is difficult to judge. One
must listen to each combo.
Also, is this for a coupling or decoupling application? Another
idea at this value would be to use a film cap. I use Auricaps.
