Thiel speakers come with two sets of spikes. One set with pointy ends are for carpet. There should be another set with a flat ends which is designed for hardwood floor or tile floors. If you don't have these, you might want to call Thiel and asked for them.Another alternative is to put a penny underneath each pointy spikes.
