Maybe I wasn't clear. I have no interest in building any components. I already have mic preamps; I just want to wire 4 of them together into a minimalist "console". The board would consist solely of existing console modules, no copies necessary. The reason that I am considering this project is because the solid state modules from the German companies (Telefunken, Siemens, TAB, etc.) have never risen in price like the comparable Neve and API modules. As long as they are dirt cheap, the project makes sense from a financial perspective.steve
