An Idea For A DIY Equipment Rack:

63.27.1.188

I am trying to come up with my own idea of an equipment rack. I have been considering the TNT FleXy Table, but see Fear 3000's comment in Vinyl Asylum.
However, here's another idea: This rack will have two wide pieces of hardwood panels about 6-8" wide, 3/4" thick and at least 32" high, screwed into a firm, substantial base. The top of the rack, made with MDF will be placed first using cones, spikes or soft rubber large Isobearings. All the other shelves will be mounted from the bottem of this top shelf, using turnbuckles for spacing and leveling. Each succeeding lower shelf would be mounted from the bottem of the shelf above it with these turnbuckles and they would each be free from the two vertical side supports. In other words, eccept for the top shelf, all the other shelves would be suspended from above. How does this idea sound??????????
