I am looking to purchase a nice Dremel for two main purposes. The first, to mill holes into an aluminum chasis for Jon Risch's line filter. I need to make holes for the receptacles, line cord, etc. The other main use I plan to have for the Dremel is to route holes for speaker enclosures. I have heard the Dremel can be coupled with a device which creates accurate circular holes. I also simply find the many applications of the Dremel very appealing for other possible unforseen projects. So as the subject of the post indicates, my questions are where can I find the best deal on a dremel with accompanying bits, etc. (online or retail store - I am in both the Philadelphia, PA and Bethlehem, PA areas throughout the week) to fulfill the jobs I am immediately considering (holes in aluminum chasis and in speaker enclosures). It would be very convenient if anyone has more information on the attachment to aid in using the Dremel as a router. I am always of limited funds, so searching for the best deal is a necessity. Finally, is the Dremel truly the right tool (efficiently and most cost effectively?) to knock out these two jobs? If not, what do you suggest?
Thank you in advance for all your help and advice.
Andy
