mods on Conrad-Johnson CAV-50

Hi,
I'm getting ready to hotrod my C-J CAV-50. Any suggestions?
I plan to start, one by one, with easier and more effective mods. Currently I can think of a few upgrades, by order of priority:

1.) diode bridge (HEXFRED)
2.) internal wiring
3.) power cord
4.) volume pot

Any suggestions, comments, cautions welcome.
