If you did the work only at the op-amps, then you might see what you did. Try doing the caps at the supply first. If the supply is low current, you might also get what you saw. Good bass is tired right to how good your supply is. You didn't say if the supply is regulated or not? That will also make for uncertain results. Good Luck, bobwire
