The nice thing is that there are still nice working examples available, and for a price that makes them eminently affordable, which, for me at least, they weren't 25 years ago.I just acquired one about 2 weeks ago, and I must admit I'm thrilled. I've screwed around with tube stuff for the last 10 years or so, both store-bought stuff and homebuilt, and this "ancient" preamp dusts all of it.
Now if I could just figure out the various A and D systems and which works best with the Denon 103, I'll be a happy camper. Thanks John - Pat
