Hi Peter,
On the Mark Levinson website, devoted to old discontinued models, I found that Tom Colangelo makes new (improved) modules for the JC-2 and ML-1 preamplifier.
Tom seems to continue the Cello line of amplifiers after the collapse of the Cello Imperium. And the departure of Mr. Mark Levinson. I don't have a address of Tom Colangelo. The name of his new company is Viola Audio Systems. (Next name will be....)
As for the low setting of the volume pot: you can increase the series resistor from 10k to 20k on the low setting of the gain switch. This will make the volume pot less 'nervous' to adjust on low volume with efficient systems.
