Iv'e suggested the APC Smart UPS many times, but I never thought of buying one of the really big high wattage models (not the 700). By doing this once the battery is charged you can unplug the UPS when you are listening so it's running purely off the battery. I don't know how many times the UPS batteries will be able to handle this though, you would also have to disable the beeping alarms.
