I'm going to be getting an APC Smart-UPS 700 in the next couple of days. It puts out a fairly low-distortion "pure sinewave". I'm really curious to see how the battery backup (which I'm guessing should last 1 1/2 hours or so feeding my CD Player) will sound. I'll post my findings once I've tried it out...BTW, has anyone already tried this?
