Hi Hantra,Thanks for the answers/suggestions. I am totally open to suggestions and the more the better. I do not easily get bored with long and detailed explanations, rather I think it helps to make things clearer. So do let it all come.
Unfortunately, I have already gone ahead and bought the MDF and other stuff, if not, I may have taken your advice and gone with Birch PW instead. I've read good things about it's resonance and damping factor. Oh well, I guess I'll just make my first rack using the MDF and then use it for some other purpose after I convince the *boss* that it was money well spent and that I need to go one step further and make the second rack using Birch PW.
Hmmmmm. I didn't think the tightening/loosening of screws would change the rate of resonance.
