RE: Hospital Grade (or industrial) with Copper plugs- PC's and wall plugs

Great info guys... Thanks!

I'm not so worried about the hospital grade specs except that it is more robust in general than "regular domestic' offerings and has a tighter grip.

I also didn't mean pure copper... as mentioned- too soft.

Just looking for material that has less brass, tin content or other non-copper allows.

Would love to find a plug from the likes of Hubbell or Pass and Seymour with decent amount of copper. Maybe 70% is as good as they get.

The options for the higher end hospital (industrial) grade stuff is at big boxes are limited. I found a few interesting options at the online commercial electrical supply houses. I cant remember details on why I thought these were the best of their offerings but sometimes I just picked the most expensive which may or may not be consequential. For ex...I doubt tamper proof is going to benefit us too much except maybe the housing is more robust and stable??

Also... For wall sockets, I know amp specs are of importance and must correspond with proper wiring.
