RE: IEC inlet (Panel Mount) snap-ins

There are plenty of snap-in IEC connectors made. As far as audio grade goes, probably not.

Just buy a name brand connector with all the required safety certifications. You can't do any better than that. These connectors are used on highly sensitive lab gear for example. That's far more demanding than any audio application.

Also just because a vendor says the connector is audio grade doesn't mean anything. There is no official standard for "audio grade". In fact many of these "audio grade" parts are actually the cheapest imports just re-labeled and treated in some fashion that only makes them worse. Bad re-plating, cryo treatment that alters the plastic strength. All for nothing.

Just buy a reputable name brand, in the USA good vendors are Digikey, Mouser, Newark Electronics. They have a wide selection.
