While reading about these over on A'Gon, and then purchasing two sets I've found these while not as cheap as several footers mentioned above, but far cheaper then my Shun Mook Super Diamond Resonators or MSA Nanotech BlackPods Footers.
I've found them quite effective as used atop IKEA boards placed onto the floor or atop my Sound Anchors Rack. In which sense they'll work just as well underneath your gear once your stand arrives.
