Now I admit I don't listen to mass violins much or hardly at all these days but I do listen to a lot of live jazz and I just don't hear extension and airiness. When you are in the real world do you hear extension and airiness. I don't. Why mess with polyester? Once again the Wima MPK10 and the Vishay 1839 are pretty readily available, get good to very good reviews for such inexpensive caps and , maybe best of all, they are NOT mylar. Can't be repeated enough. T456
