That's for sure. Even the DC plugs I've tried like the ones made by Switchcraft are nowhere near as good sounding, IME. They are all cheap stuff designed for skinny DC cords for small wall warts, while the Oyaide DC plugs allow a substantially larger DC umbilical cable to be terminated with them. The Oyaide DC plugs are built like a good audio connector rather than a low-cost electronics store product. They sound much better not to mention they look very nice. Well-worth the under $20 price point, IME. I wouldn't build a serious DIY DC umbilical project without one.
