Thanks for the info Joey, you've renewed my faith in AA! As you can tell, I'm interested in an interim solution for "things digital" since it appears that the kind of machine I'm looking for (universal multi-channel player with good redbook performance) has not yet reached the market.Thanks for the Luxman suggestions et al, I'll peruse the used market and see what I can come up with. BTW, I'll also contact Ryan, (the author of the link you passed my way) to see what other ideas he might have. I really appreciate the time you took to help me out!
