The "reference" on their website is extremely vague."You were correct to claim that your caps are better than MIT..."
As you know, Jensen manufacturers at least three distinct lines of capacitors some of which are available with different leads and casings. I would imagine that all of them don't sound the same.
>i'm learning that there are people who seem to have compared them with more famous brands (mit, infinicaps, hovland) and claim the Jensen to be superiorSo, what is your point? If you visit the AuriCap website they compare their cap to the top-of-the-line Jensen and claim that their's is superior; they do the same for the RTX MultiCap. If you visit the AltaVista Audio website, Elliott states that the AuriCaps are superior to RTX MultiCaps, paper-in-oil caps and several others. If you visit the Hovland website... well, you get the idea.
I guess everyone has their opinions and biases. So what else is new? Just be happy with your Jensen's. Alternatively, try some Hovland MusiCaps for yourself - then you'll really know what's best suited for your ears.
