I noticed in your instructions a recommendation to use polyester as a fabric to absorb high frequencies. Many man-made fabrics, such as polyester do not absorb much energy at any frequency, which is why it is often used as a grill cloth. Organic fabrics such as wool and rough woven cotton are much better at high frequency absorbtion, but at a higher cost as well.
