Hi Brian,Thanks for your reply. First, I don't hear anything weird coming out of my speakers. I have heard my line stage oscillate before, but that's when I didn't have a resistor on the output and the 25 foot interconnect was bothering the little 797 opamp. A 100 ohm resistor in series with the output took care of it, at least in the audible range.
I don't at this time have a scope that works, I've got an old B&K that someone gave me, but I'm waiting for a replacement part. Then again, I wouldn't know where to put the probes and what to look for! Can you give me any advice?
