It is a woodglue that you can find at most places that carries lumber. It comes in a semi clear bottle. The glue looks and is like a very thick syrup. It is rather messy stuff and if you get it on your hands, your hands will look blackish for a few days (it really binds any saw dust to your skin=) ).
